Business License Check keeps the name, email, company, optional phone, the business license check you described, the state, the page on businesslicensecheck.com, campaign parameters that were on that page, and the country on the connection. People run a “business license check” on the secretary of state and stop. That search proves an entity exists. It does not prove the city allowed the activity, collected the local tax certificate, or inspected a food establishment. Those files sit with the city clerk, finance department, or health department.

Business License Check does not issue local licenses and does not speak for a city clerk.
